Let's just say if we would have known what we do now we would have not even tried to do an IUI.
But I guess like so many of us we learn so much more while already being on the path of the unknown.

One word of advice: Make sure you learn everything you possibly can about the Fertility clinic and the staff. It can save you lots of money and emotional heartache.

04/03/03 Blood tests done to both of us (ordered by new RE)
Immunology -  Hepatitis B -  Hepatitis C - HTLV I/II AB W/RFLX to WB -  HIV1/HIV2 antibody W/RFLXS - Chlamydia - Endocrinology
 
negative on all of the above
 
04/09/03 Semen Analysis
let's just say we have a male factor (too many details to list)
 
04/15/03 HSG done @ radiologist  (OUCH!!)
Examination: HSG - HYSTEROSALPINGOGRAM
 
Procedure:  HYSTEROSALPINGOGRAM
 
Technique: The exam was performed with the sterile technique. A ballon cathether was positioned in the cervical canal. the exam was   performed with 5 cc of Sinografin.
 
Findings: The uterus appears normal in outline. There was opacification of a normal appearing right tube with free spillage of contrast in the peritoneum. The patient by history has had a prior left oophorectomy.
 
Impression:  The right tube is patent
 
06/11/03 Pelvic Ultrassound Survey
Results:  No L ovary
              R ovavy; mulitple , small follicles, no endometriosis
              Resting Follicle #: 8 - 10
              Total Size: 27 x 25 mm
 
Uterus: Symmetrical, no fifroids seen. Good flow
 
Endometrium: 6.7 mm     Flow:   good
 
06/15/03 Start LH testing
 
06/20/02 CD 15 LH kit - slight color change
              U/S follicle checked
              R ovary 13x 13.5 mm
              Endometrium 11mm, C pattern
             
06/22/03  LH Kit+
 
06/23/03 INTERUTERINE INSEMINATION
                           resulted ina BFN
